Finding a Charleston Maternity Photographer That Fits Your Needs

Maternity Photographers

Okay so in this post I am going to talk about how I work with clients to create a relaxed environment. But here is the thing, you may get to the end of this and realize that my approach does not resonate with you. That is okay! More than anything I want you to find the photographer who works for you. So take the time to research maternity photographers in Charleston, and find the one that makes you feel safe, and seen. Because, in the end this is not a moment you can get back. Therefore it is vital that you find the photographer who works for you!

Intimate Maternity Portraits

One thing I continually remind my clients is that when you choose to have maternity photos done, you are doing it for your future self. You will only appreciate them more as time goes on. This is especially true for more intimate portraits. You are allowing yourself to be vulnerable during a time where you may not feel your best. Or maybe you do feel your best and you are ready to celebrate that! Either way, as time goes on you will be able to see a beauty in yourself that you may not have seen before. Which is what intimate portraits are all about. Seeing the raw strength, yet softness of pregnancy and the body which God has blessed you with.

The Maternity Photographer That Works For You

Sessions led by you. This means I will always encourage you and suggest different things. But I never force you to do anything. Your boundaries will always come first. I will work with you to protect any insecurities you may have, and create art that makes you feel confident.

The next question I am sure you have is, will everyone see them??? To answer this in short, absolutely not. As a Christian, and a women I understand everyones definition of modesty is different. What someone else is comfortable showing, may not be the same as what you would like to show. All portraits are treated with the same confidentiality that you would receive from a doctor. This means that your portraits are between your eyes and mine only. Anytime I spend working on your images will be in total privacy. You will never see them on my instagram, website, or blog unless you have given me written permission to do so. Meaning you can rest easy in the fact that just because you get these done, does not mean you have to be comfortable having them shared with anyone else.

So while it may seem intimidating, you just might find that intimate maternity portraits are something you want to try after all. They are a way to capture the raw beauty of a  journey we are blessed to be apart of. Though it may be difficult at the time, I strongly believe that your future self will only look back on those photos with admiration. And maybe after all this, you do not feel I am the photographer for you. Take your time to research a different Charleston Maternity Photographer, who may be a better fit for your needs. Because after all, this is about you, and you deserve the best experience possible when it comes to preserving such a meaningful memory for years to come.
